Hey hey, Portland area comedians of every level of experience: I'm doing a workshop this Wednesday for Writers Bloc at Helium Comedy Club - Portland on stage presence, confidence, vocal stuff, facing fears, and just like some fun experimentation with performing and feeling more comfortable on stage. It's going to be a super relaxed, safe, no pressure/no judgment type thing, and I think it will be totally fun. I was an actor for a long time before I got into standup, I went to school for theater, and I learned some stuff that I think can be applied to standup to kind of help you come out of your shell, or just try some stuff, and kind of shake it up from the usual. I hope both brand new comedians as well as really seasoned comedians who've been in the game even longer than I have will come out, it will be fun and different, and you can probably share some wisdom with a newer person.
