Notes of Hope at Alberta Rose Theater

  • Alberta Rose Theater 3000 Northeast Alberta Street Portland, OR, 97211 United States (map)

I'm so honored and excited to be hosting the 8th annual Notes of Hope benefit show at the Alberta Rose Theater.

Notes of Hope is a spectacularly fun, hopeful & powerful annual storytelling & music event in Portland, Oregon that benefits the Adolescent & Young Adult Oncology program at OHSU. It is performed in honor of Bethany Hartung & Hugh Housen, two well-loved members of our community who lost their lives to cancer at a young age. This one-of-a-kind grassroots event will inspire hope, possibility, openness and community support.

This year's amazing musical guests include Jenny Conlee of The Decemberists, Eric Stern Music of Vagabond Opera, and Trashcan Joe. Young adult cancer survivors Remi Newhouse, Brianne Sabin, Alyssa Englund & Gabe Ballard will tell their powerful, funny, engaging and real stories. Hosting the show will be comedian & young adult cancer survivor Becky Braunstein.

Tickets are on sale now for $24, and proceeds will benefit programs that provide support and life-changing assistance to young adults with cancer. For more information about the event, visit www.notesofhopepdx.org - and to buy tickets, visit The Alberta Rose Theatre website at www.albertarosetheatre.com.
